Poplar Grove plans Bike Tour

The Poplar Grove Pedal Tour will be held Nov. 16 in the neighborhood off Davison Road -  West of the Ashley. Lunch will be at 1 p.m. and the biking 2-4 p.m.

More Coal to pass through Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina health officials have approved an energy company’s request to increase the amount of coal that passes through Charleston.
