Local firm gets $49M order from Canadian Government

CHARLESTON — Force Protection announced Tuesday it has received a contract modification for delivery of 14 Buffalo A2 route-clearance vehicles and 34 Cougar vehicles to the Canadian government.
The contract value is not to exceed $49.4 million and includes vehicles, spare parts and field support. The vehicles are scheduled for delivery in 2009.
