Disaster Awareness Day on Kiawah Island

2008 Annual Disaster Awareness Day Event

To stress the importance of preparedness and education, the Town of Kiawah Island is hosting the Annual Disaster Preparedness Day in conjunction with the Town of Seabrook Island on Thursday, June 12th, 2008 at the Sandcastle from 10 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. There will be a host of vendors, demonstrations, prizes and food.

Please plan to attend this year’s event and learn how to better prepare your family in the event of a hurricane or natural disaster. Tickets for the event will be available at the Kiawah and Seabrook Island Municipal Centers.
