Spoleto Festival 2009

Summer is almost here and what better to bring it in than The Spoleto Festivals.  The 2009 Spoleto Festival has kicked off and in full force now.  Since 1977 Charleston has been bringing historic theaters, featuring performances by renowned artists as well as emerging performers.  It offers a wide range of theatrics & musical entertainment.

This years festivities run from May 22nd – June 7th.  The Feature over 120 performances ranging from opera, theater, dance,  choral, and jazz music, as well as the visual arts.  To check out upcoming events check out http://www.spoletousa.org/2009.php.  This will provide you with each days events, times, and locations.  Make sure not to miss out on one of the world’s major art festivals.
