CHARLESTON, S.C. — A preservation group says it’s arraigned deals to protect more than 2,200 acres near the South Carolina coast.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported Friday the Nature Conservancy has spent nearly $6.5 million to buy 1,116 acres in Berkeley and Charleston counties from International Paper Co.
